LeCrone Fine Art is rooted in the landscapes and light of the American heartland — from the red clay plains of Oklahoma to the river towns and back roads of central Arkansas, where the studio is now based.

The work here begins in specific places and specific moments: a barn whose siding has weathered through fifty winters, a figure sitting alone at the end of a bar, a draft horse standing still in the early morning. These are the kinds of scenes that register at the edge of attention — familiar enough to walk past, worth stopping for when someone has taken the time to look closely.

Oil is the primary medium, valued for its depth and the way it holds texture, but acrylics and pastels make appearances as well, chosen when a subject calls for something faster or more immediate. The range of subjects — rural structures, barnyard life, sweeping open landscapes, crowded city blocks, interior atmospheres — reflects a belief that meaningful subject matter is rarely far away.

Each piece is built from observation first, then composition, with the goal of making something that rewards a second look and, with any luck, a third.
